The Inherent Pull Ad
Commercial for The Inherent Pull
So I felt it was time to actually create a commercial for one of my shows. It was actually quite easy to do since I already had tons of material to work from and I did all the research needed in the past year.

Job Master
@ Nachbar in Louisville, KyIn 2009 Daniel Luchman and I created a game show performance called Jobmaster. The event was based that the rules were up to the participant and they were judged on the creativity of their solutions and not so much on their abilities to finish the games. We did three total.

Indebted prolonged

These images are from the end of my Indebted project. I was interested in releasing the bison back into the wild, but I did not want to miss what would happen to it next. So i set up a motion capture camera to catch what animals would use it for. I got hundred of images, but these are a few.
In a dream I saw the body of my father walking through our backyard with a the bison head as his. I couldn't shake the dream so I do what I always do when something startles me. I build a piece out of it. I never used the image for anything, but I still hate to be rid of it.

Anderson Ranch Artist Center

While attending Anderson Ranch Arts Center I built this space in response to my father in the final days of his life. I was trying to recreate our camping experience in a interior environment with shadows, motion and noise. It had the sound of rain falling on a tarp as well as the sway of the tree branch shadows above.
